It’s also a chance for you to ask any questions and get a feel for how counselling works. Sessions are a safe and supportive space.
Yes, counselling is strictly confidential. However, there are legal exceptions, such as if there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or if required by law (e.g. child protection concerns).
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
